Meet Julie McGoldrick

Thrive HR & People Ops
Julie McGoldrick is a proven HR leader with over 20 years of experience building and leading teams, innovating processes and developing employee programs. She is a consultant and trusted advisor to senior management teams and executives.
Julie spent 11 years of her career in tech at Resonate, where she was the 10th employee and built the HR team and function from the ground up. Julie implemented processes and systems that not only built a meaningful company culture, but also instituted business operations and support structures that helped guide the company through a sale transaction. During her time at Resonate, she navigated from the earliest startup days building the HR foundations, to fostering relationships and maintaining morale when the company transitioned to remote work in 2020. As the company grew to over 150 people nationwide, Julie developed systems that kept employees motivated and connected.
Prior to Resonate, Julie spent over 10 years in the online advertising and publishing industries, launching new ad products and supporting Sales at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive and implementing email systems at U.S. News Ventures/Bulletin News.
Now, her passion is helping start-ups and small businesses build a solid operational HR foundation combined with a positive employee experience to ensure both the company and employees are successful.
When Julie isn’t working with companies to foster their employees, you’ll find her traveling with her family, most likely checking another Caribbean destination off their bucket list.
